Our Beliefs

Evangelization of the lost: We believe that the supreme mission of the Church is to glorify God, by doing what He commanded, as in the "Great Commission" (Matthew 28:18-20). We are obligated to spread the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15, Romans 10:13-17).

The physical return of Jesus Christ: We believe in the imminent, bodily return of Jesus Christ first for his saints (born-again believers) in the clouds ("Rapture") (I Thess. 4:13-17; John 14:2-4), and then at the end of the 7 year tribulation period to the earth, (Matthew 24:21-51, Rev 19:11-21) to destroy His enemies, and to rule and reign.
The millenial reign of Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ will rule and reign with His saints on earth for 1000 years after the tribulation period (Rev 20:1-7).

The local church: We believe that the local church is a called-out assembly of born-again, baptized believers associated by covenant of faith and fellowship of the gospel; observing the ordinances of Christ; governed by His laws in accordance with Pauline revelation (Rom 11:13) exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by God's word.

We believe in the authority and self-government of the local church and its separation from political and state entanglements, as well as interference of any hierarchy of individuals or organizations. All matters of membership, policy, government, discipline, and benevolence in the local church are to be determined by the local church. We believe in two ordinances - Baptism by immersion and the Lord's supper; and two offices - Pastor and Deacon.

This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith. The Bible (AV 1611) itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe. We do believe, however, that the foregoing Statement of Faith accurately represents the teaching of the Bible.
